Washington group files elections complaint against Fiesta Bowl, Junker – Phoenix Business Journal

A Washington watchdog group has filed a federal elections complaint against the Fiesta Bowl, fired CEO John Junker, his wife Susan and other bowl executives over allegedly improper campaign contributions and fundraisers for Arizona lawmakers.

The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics filed the complaint in Washington Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission regarding campaign contributions that went to U.S. Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl and former congressmen J.D. Hayworth and John Shadegg.
