Vikings, Redskins staffs to coach Senior Bowl teams | NFL.com

The Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins will serve as the coaching staffs for the Senior Bowl, it was announced Saturday.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier and his staff will lead the North squad later this month, and Redskins coach Mike Shanahan and his staff will lead the South.

Both Frazier and Shanahan are returning to Mobile, Ala., for the game, having served as coordinators under different staffs before — Frazier with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2004 and Shanahan with the Denver Broncos in 1986.

Last year, Washington drafted a league-leading six players who participated in the 2011 Senior Bowl, including first-round pick Ryan Kerrigan. The Redskins hold the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft after a 5-11 season.
