HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Brett Favre‘s agent says talk of his client attempting another NFL comeback is just “speculation.”
Bus Cook said Monday morning that Favre hasn’t talked to him about any sort of comeback and to his knowledge, Favre “hasn’t talked to anybody else about a comeback” either.
Favre, 41, has insisted he’s done playing football, but after several years of flirting with retirement talk has spread he could return. On Saturday, Philadelhia radio station WIP reported that the Eagles were interested in signing Favre as a backup to starter Michael Vick, assuming current backup Kevin Kolb would be traded. Vick later tweeted that he would be honored to have Favre as his backup.
